Our 10-day retreat is the perfect introduction to travel in Morocco - one of the most magical places on earth! All under the guidance of highly experienced local guides.

I'll be on hand for the duration of the trip to help you navigate the best places to shop and eat, the most exotic scenery and cultural sites...all you need to do is get there and I'll organise the rest! (including coordinating shipping if you get a little carried away in the souks).

Tightly limited to just 6 lucky women, our retreat is a safe and comfortable way to to discover Morocco, making it perfect for solo travellers or small groups!

The itinerary has been carefully curated around plenty of spare time, so you can totally immerse yourself in the intoxicating daily life of Morocco…you can do as much or as little as you like!

Your Itinerary

Monday 4 November

Today you will arrive in Marrakech!

I will meet you at the airport and transport you back to the beautiful Riad Matham in the Old Medina, where you will enjoy complimentary mint tea and pastries on arrival.

Afternoon walk and neighbourhood orientation for those up to it, followed by a welcome dinner at our Riad.

Tuesday 5 November

After a leisurely start, we will venture out into the Medina for a guided tour of the Souks followed by lunch at one of Marrakech's best rooftop restaurants!

After lunch we will visit the beautiful oasis that is Le Jardin Secret, followed by plenty of free time in the afternoon to find your feet in the Souks, indulge in a massage or hammam, or just relax in our beautiful riad.

Wednesday 6 November

After breakfast we will travel to Amizmiz, in the stunning Atlas Mountains, to visit Saida's Berber House (approx a 1 hour drive).

Saida will welcome us into her family home where she will share their traditions, along with a walking tour of the local village.

You will have the special opportunity to try rug weaving with the local women, a tradition they have passed down through generations.

Saida and her family will provide a beautiful home cooked traditional Berber lunch, along with live Berber music on her terrace.

After our village walk we will head back to Marrakech with dinner provided in our riad.

Thursday 7 November

Another leisurely start with a beautiful Moroccan breakfast in our Riad.

Later in the morning we will head to Jardin Majorelle and the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts. You will be free to explore the garden and museum, grab a bite to eat in the cafe (not included) and discover the surrounding boutiques.

The evening will bring us to Jemaa el Fna, where we will experience the dizzy chaos of the main square at night!

From here we will head off on a tantalising Marrakech street food experience. We will visit some of the best kept food secrets in the Old Medina...just don't forget your appetite and walking shoes!

Friday 8 November

Today is all about YOU!

Spend the day exploring the souks, visit some more cultural institutions, experience a traditional Moroccan Hammam or massage.

I will be on hand to help you navigate any additional activities you might want to include (I will provide a list of suggested options and pricing to all retreat guests upon booking).

Saturday 9 November

Today we will travel from Marrakech to Essaouira to explore the stunning Atlantic coast!

We will stop at the Argan Oil Women’s Cooperative on the way, followed by a local food & cultural tour of this beautiful seaside town. If you love seafood, this one's for you!

The next two night's are truly something special, as we will be staying at the stunning Salut Maroc, a Historic 18th Century Riad in the heart of the ancient Medina of Essaouira.

Sunday 10 November

Waking to a beautiful breakfast at our Riad, you will be free to explore the port town of Essaouira.

With plenty of activity options - from camel rides on the beach and surfing, to getting lost in the Souk or again, enjoying a Hammam or massage...the possibilities are endless!

Monday 11 November

A lazy morning in Essaouira, before we head back to Marrakech.

Dinner will be provided in one of the Medina's most popular - and stunning - restaurants!

Tuesday 12 November

Today we will travel the old caravan route from Marrakech to the Sahara, to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou.

We will spend a magical afternoon exploring the ksar, followed by dinner and drinks in our riad.

Wednesday 13 November

After a leisurely start we will head back to Marrakech for your final day! You will have time in the afternoon to finish off your shopping, have a pre flight Hammam (thoroughly recommended!), tick off a few more cultural visits or just people watch from rooftops! We will end the day with a farewell dinner and wine in our riad.

Thursday 14 November

Departure day!

After another beautiful riad breakfast we will bid farewell!
